Con varios veteranos forjadores y herradores de bueyes de Quintanar de la Sierra (Burgos) conocí en 2003 cómo se moldeaba al rojo vivo los callos o herraduras para posteriormente colocarlas a los bueyes en los tradicionales tornos de madera.
